Veterans Gateway is a free 24/7 first point of contact for UK veterans and their families. Call 0808 802 1212, text 81212, use online live chat or the Veterans Gateway app. Many advisers are veterans themselves. Topics include mental wellbeing, housing, employment, finances, living independently, families and communities, and physical health. The team refers callers to the best-placed Armed Forces charity such as Combat Stress, RBL, SSAFA or Poppyscotland. Open to anyone who has served, including reservists, and their families.
