We Hear You (WHY) offers free professional counselling for people affected or bereaved by cancer and other life-threatening conditions across Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset and Wiltshire, with the team based in Frome. Adults 18 and over can be referred now; children from age 4 can be supported (contact first). Clients are invited to contribute around 20 pounds toward sessions but ability to pay does not affect access. Intake involves an admin call then a 30-minute telephone assessment, with an average three-month wait, followed by weekly sessions (initially 6, up to 12).
