Volunteer-driven car scheme covering Welwyn and Hatfield for medical appointments, shopping and essential journeys for people unable to use public transport.
The Welwyn Hatfield CVS Community Car Scheme uses volunteer drivers in their own cars, including specially adapted MPVs, to take older people or those with illness or disability to medical appointments, shopping or social activities. Drivers charge 60p per mile from their home with no booking or membership fee, and complete DBS and reference checks. Call 01707 274861 to book.
