Community hub in south Reading offering activities, advice and family support.
Whitley Community Development Association runs the South Reading Community Hub on Northumberland Avenue, with a community cafe open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm. A free food service runs 10am to 1pm weekdays, plus Winter Warming Wednesdays for over-50s and a monthly Whitleys Well Being day. More than 20 partners deliver from the hub, including Berkshire Welfare Rights, Reading Stroke Association, Age Concern, the Kingsley Organisation for adults with disabilities and a toddler group.
