Cambridge day centre for rough sleepers and vulnerably housed people, open every day with food, showers, laundry, advice and women's services.
Wintercomfort (charity 1003083) is based at Overstream House, Victoria Avenue, Cambridge CB4 1EG and supports homeless and vulnerably housed people every day of the year. Reception takes calls Monday to Friday, 8:30am-12:00pm on 01223 518140. Service strands include Housing Support, Employment and Training, Welfare, Counselling and Therapy, Health and Wellbeing, Womens Only Support, and Social Inclusion and Sports. The Overstream Clean social enterprise gives clients work experience and a route into employment.

Eligibility: Adults who are sleeping rough, in a hostel, in temporary accommodation or otherwise vulnerably housed in or around Cambridge.
Area covered: Cambridge
Not suitable for: Some specialist services (Winter Women, counselling) have referral criteria. People living outside Cambridge can drop in but may be signposted to their local homeless service. Children should be safeguarded via Children's Social Care.
