Women-only centre in Barrow offering support with housing, benefits, abuse, justice and wellbeing.
Womens Community Matters is a women-only support centre based at the Nan Tait Centre in Barrow-in-Furness, also working with women across South Lakeland. The team supports women with anything they need, including benefits, housing, domestic or sexual abuse, navigating the police, courts and prison system, mental wellbeing, employment, education and social activities. Drop-in sessions run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to noon and self-referrals are welcome.
