Sussex and Surrey YMCA preventing youth homelessness through housing, counselling and family mediation.
YMCA DownsLink Group is the regional YMCA charity (No. 1079570) based at Reed House, 47 Church Road, Hove BN3 2BE, working across Sussex and Surrey for 175 years. Each night it provides safe accommodation to 650+ young people and supports 7,146 young people a year. Centres are in Brighton and Hove, Crawley, Eastbourne, Hailsham, Guildford, Hastings, Horsham and Worthing, with YAC youth advice in Brighton and Crawley, Dialogue counselling, family mediation, YMCA WiSE exploitation support and chaplaincy.

Who it's for
Who they help: Young people who are homeless or at risk, plus children and families needing counselling.
Eligibility: Young people aged 16-25 at risk of homelessness in Sussex and Surrey.
Area covered: West Sussex (countywide)
Not suitable for: Most accommodation services are for ages 16-25 — older adults should approach Turning Tides or Crawley Open House.
