York Mind is an independent local mental health charity supporting people in York. They offer confidential one-to-one and group support to adults and young people aged 11-25, helping individuals manage mental health challenges, build resilience and live more independently. Services include the Young Peoples Counselling Service, advocacy through York Advocacy Hub, peer support, befriending and mental health training. The charity formed in 2011 from a merger of two long-standing York mental health organisations.
